Job Description
To manage and lead the institutional sales team to ensure that the quality of service provided meets and exceeds customer expectation. To develop sales & marketing plans and thereby achieve agreed targets for new cars, finance and accessories.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring sales and contribution targets are met by managing the activities of the institutional car sales team.
Ensure that the team meets its quality objectives by leading, supervising and developing the sales personnel within the team.
Develop the customer base of the department by formulating and implementing an effective fleet sales plan.
Monitor all aspects of sales executives’ performance, actively seeking opportunities to improve and implementing effective improvement actions as necessary.
Responsible for achieving maximum levels of sales commitment among fleet sales executives.
Assist Sales Manager in sales forecasting and order preparation.
Ensure that all-departmental sales procedures and policies are planned and explained to sales staff.
Meet fleet customers on a regular basis to develop relationship and thereby increase sales.
Locate fleet prospects and solicit business through mail, telephone and personal contacts.
Update self and fleet sales team on current market requirements and government regulations affecting fleets and developments in business.
Prepare specifications and submit bids to prospective fleet buyers.
Assist fleet sales team in achieving sales, finance and insurance targets.
Qualify fleet prospects and review orders
Appraise used fleet vehicles for trade-in
Ensures that all fleet customer complaints are personally responded to a line with agreed procedures.
Co-ordinates with the After-sales team to provide innovative service packages to fleet customers, thereby ensuring maximum retention of customer, high levels of customer satisfaction and increasing profitability.
Motivate, develop, organizes and lead the team of fleet sales personnel to meet agreed objectives. Enable and encourage sales personnel to adapt to and exploit technical, environmental and business changes.
Ensure that the fleet sales team has the equipment and the facilities required to maximize productivity.
Assist in conducting sales meetings.
To maintain the integrity of the Concorde dealer by ensuring that the sales department complies with established procedures and meets all legal and regulatory requirements..
