Nuelight- Nuelight is a Start-up Company based out of US with R&D Development Centre based of Hyderabad, India. Nuelight develops solutions to the key shortcomings of OLED displays. Nuelight’s patent pending technology and products ensure uniform brightness, balanced colors and long lifetimes of Active Matrix OLED. Nuelight technology and products will enable the active matrix OLED display manufacturers to develop video centric displays for high volume consumer products such as smart phones, portable DVD players, laptops, monitors and TV. Nuelight is partnering with a leading flat panel display manufacturer to develop and commercialize high performance active matrix OLED displays for these consumer markets.

An OLED device produces light by passing current through thin layers of organic materials, which are sandwiched between two electrodes, one of which is transparent. OLEDs key advantages of fast switching speeds (thousand times faster than LCD), outstanding viewing qualities (>170 degrees), vivid colors, low power consumption and lower cost mean that they have disruptive potential over a range of display markets. OLED technology is expected to capture significant market share from LCDs especially for video centric products such as portable DVD players, monitors and TVs. However OLED technology penetration into these high volume consumer markets has been hampered by major drawbacks such as short life times, differential color aging, image sticking and low manufacturing yields.

Job Description

ASIC logic design.
Micro-Architecture; working closely with architects and team leaders.
Verilog entry; Logic simulations; timing/synthesis.


Desired Profile

BS/ MS (EC/EE/CE) with 2 to 10 years experience in the relevant areas like:

Experienced in Specification, Architecture, Micro-Architecture, Logic Design, Verification and Synthesis.
Backgrounds in Displays, Graphics, or Multimedia embedded ASIC design preferred.
Strength in Verilog is a must. Programming skills in C and PERL preferred.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well as a team.
BS in Electrical Engineering, MS preferred. At least 3+ years experience.

Minimum experience - 2 years
Maximum experience - 10 years
